Ray Lamp

The Ray lamp was inspired by the layers in the wood more than anything else. It’s an experiment with how I could carve 12 different pieces of plywood and have them come together to create one cohesive object. With every piece I carved, I was inspired to try a new method of shaping for the next, out of curiosity with what could be made. Each piece was built on the knowledge and experience of carving the ones before.
